Q: What is the email group for Moline High
School Class of '53?
A: An email group is commonly known as an Internet mailing list
or discussion list. It enables persons with a common interest or theme
to participate in group discussions through normal email.
Q: Who can join?
A: Members of the Moline, Illinois, High School Class of '53.
Q: How do I join?
A: The MHS '53 email group is sponsored by Yahoo! Groups. You may sign
up at the Yahoo! site, or easier still, go to the MHS
'53 E-Mail Group Sign-Up page. You will simply "Enter" your email address,
click "Subscribe", and then "Respond" to the confirmation email that comes back
from Yahoo.
Q: What may I expect?
A: After you join (see prior question), you will be able to participate
in group email discussions with fellow classmates. The email may consist of
photos from classmates, "Do you remember when" discussions, and sharing
of significant events in classmates' lives. You may participate in the group
discussions simply by sending email to molinehigh53@yahoogroups.com.
Your mail will automatically be sent to all email group participants.
Q: How do I know who is participating?
A: Once you are a member of the email group, you will be provided with
a password to view participating classmates' names and email addresses.
Q: How can I quit the email group?
A: To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: molinehigh53-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com.
You will receive an automated email message confirming your desire to unsubscribe
from the group. Once you confirm your intent, you will no longer be able
to send or receive email through the email group.
